Don't be so condescending. This isn't the title screen of the game. I am rightfully upset that they swapped my character from BLM to WHM.

Also, now we are finding that by making Conjurer WHM and taking cures away from THM, guess who is getting into Darkhold.. GLA, CON, ARC. Every other class is getting left out because no one wants to deal with aoe cure cost. So before you think this thread is just about mages, consider the facts. It's affected every class but GLA and ARC.

you cant swap the aoe cures, and skills that are cross classed have longer recast times, and are 50-20% less potent. In the new system where difficulty is based around living and dying in the mp vs Cure potential gameplay. doing 20% less heal amounts for the same large mp, means no you cant cross class healing anymore, you can help people a little bit, thats about it.

Con is pigeon held, because the hard part of the game is now cure/mp ratios, so even if they could do great DD, the hard part isnt in DD its in curing, so people will say you must cure, you are the only one who even has a chance at it.

They also made glad the defacto tank of choice for all situations.

Arc is the best DD now because it takes the least risk with its DD, and since dificulty is now about cure/mp that is of huge value. Not to mention its probably still the best DD in straight damage.

yes they are pigeon held, yes this class balancing is heavy trinity, ignore all else. yes they have to adjust it, im just surprised they didnt see this coming.
