Nope. ONE way of ranking up has been lowered in order to even out the ranking field. That doesn't equated to "nerfing ranking up". The fact that that one happened to be your personal favourite (and by ranking up solely that way you were already doing it wrong) has no bearing to the fact that most other ways of leveling are pretty much the same and a LOT of SP has been added to activities that had one and party grinding has been considerably improved due to the addition of beastmen camps.
