This thread, since about page 1, has been about should Summoner be reworked. So in some sense, you're off-topic.

As such, people say, "yes" or "no" then give their reasons. Then people refute such reasons based on a myriad of issues. This is what this thread is about.

If you can give a "myriad of reasons" without reference to current potential of summoner, possible potential of summoner with changes, and how changes would effect the potential of a summoner, them please be my guest. You quite frankly can not do this. In in a sense, what you have just said is utterly irrelevant.

Thank you for your highly patronising explaination of what this threat is about. Strangely enough, if you look at my last posts in this thread, what i was doing was engaging with people. If you can not handle people discussing what they would like to see, then perhaps this is not the place for you.

However, it is nice to see people who can not engage with others in conversation, instead opting for the "this is my opinion therefor others are irrelevant" (bit like your post that i am responding to).

So your just going to ignore the balancing issues, current summoner identity that a majority of people are happy with and PS3 limitations? Thats just naming a few of the reasons why the BS thats been mentioned here over and over wouldnt work.

Go back to page 56, read my first post on this topic. Everything that you have just argued against in the above quote is NOT from me. Since you havent read my post obviously, let me explain something to you. My argument is that i would like to see summoner reworked, only if this class/job system overhaul is to happen (also not clamiming that this is GOING to happen), due to the summoner and scholar IN MY OPINION, are suffering a little bit of an identity crisis, since they are quite similar. Please note, i have not once said that i want summoner to do X Y and Z, this being the case, i dont see how you have jumped to the conclusion that reworking the identity is going to have severe balancing issues or effect PS3 limitations! If people are happy with the summoner identity, then by all means engage with the debate like an educated adult, and stop slinging the mud like you are doing and others are doing.

EDIT: you will also see that i have engaged with those who have engaged with me. Exstal dismissing my entire opinion as being off topic, therefore irrelevant, is not a counterpoint as you like to call it. Its dismissing the opinion without thought.

So what you are really saying is you havent read my posts, you decided to quote me and then call me part of the vocal and (bad) minority, then justify doing this with what others (others that have nothing to do with me) have said? I dont really think your arguments hold much credence now.

People are discussing this at the moment, maybe becuase there are a lot of player who have just started the class for the first time etc and want to be involved in the discussion. I fail to understand your problem, and more concerning, you seem to want to cencor those who want to talk about this, or attack them without justification (which evidentally you have just done).
