It should stay the same or increase if you add more det to your Nexus since it's an i115 weapon. The max crit/det on a Nexus w/ the stat increase at i115 is 46/32, respectively. Not sure if that answers your question? >.<
What are you fellow dragoons doing with spare soldiery tomes? Myths?
So how do you maximize dps in T9 during phase 4? I find I have a really difficult time pushing good numbers at that point running all over the place. Our Bard is the only one able to get to 300 in that fight so far.
Gear for 510+ ACC, request people with Thunderstruck run away from the boss rather than strictly to the rear (seriously, no need to go to the rear except for the Lunar Dynamo one, no one but the Thunderstruck guy + melee should be moving Fire 2 and Fire 4 anyway, and Fire 3 everyone should be spreading out), and just try to sneak in what positionals you can when you're forced to stack for Thermal or Fires. DRG does pretty well in the final phase if you can keep your rotation going rather than settling for the safe positionals only.
Spare myth: I'm still working on my Novus, so I have none.
Spare Soldiery: Torn between saving for another soldiery weapon or gearing another class. Just hoarding them at the moment, I'll decide when I'm near the cap.
Spending the myth on crafting stuff to sell it.
I guess my first question is, how far into the fight are you getting? If you're only getting part way through your dps is going to rise and fall with the phases.
If your team's DPS is fast enough, Phase 3 should end right after 2nd Heaven's Fall. Continue on hitting Nael as your team moves to stack up, follow Nael as he moves in to Raven's Claw your Tank. More than enough time to do your normal rotations and set up your directionals.
Fire 1: Continue hitting until you see the line appear. If you're lucky the line is on you and you are already away from your party. Otherwise gather up with the rest after Nael Raven's Dive (refresh your HT if it's on 5s or less, Impulse if Dis is on 5s or less). You will only need to hit once or twice from the front as fire goes off. Always stick to the sides or back. Observe where the Thunder guy goes, and gauge if you have space away from him to hit Nael from the side after Fire goes off.
Fire 2: Continue hitting from the sides. Stack up with your party only when you see the red line appear. Another once or twice from the front. Observe where the Thunder guy runs off, and move back to the sides away from Thunder (can be coordinated with your party if anyone else gets thunder, they run away from Nael not through Nael to the back of Nael). If you're the one with Thunder, you're in luck to reapply your directionals and hit from side or back.
Fire 3: Stick with Nael as your MT pulls Nael to the side. Stay on the other side of MT, it's enough distance to avoid hitting two people with Super Nova. Everyone else should be separated from you, OT and range have no business sticking around you for Fire and Thunder. Refresh your HT before Iron Chariot, refresh Phble after Iron Chariot. Keep to normal rotation unless you need to dodge Super Nova. If Super Nova targets you, move inwards towards your gathering point (usually middle of the map). Gather after 2nd Super Nova lands (not casted, lands on the floor). Talons while running.
Fire 4: Some DPS down time waiting for Nael to come over, talons while waiting. Two hits from the front waiting for Fire 4, Normal Thunder Rules apply.
Divebomb 1: No businees whatsoever to stack with everyone else. Get to your side/back positions. Refresh Phble before Nael jumps off after first Divebomb sign goes off. Normal Divebomb mechanics apply if you have the sign on you. Activate Keen Flurry for COUNT-COUNT-COUNT-COUNT-COUNTER METEOR STREAM.... (meteor stream can be parried)
Divebomb 2: Stick with Nael, dodge Iron Chariot, Keep at least a SSD or DFD in case you get 2nd divebomb sign, else use it to get back after Iron Chariot (the sign will come up at the same time Iron Chariot is used)
Divebomb 3: Same as 1, but you shouldn't reach here if you pass Phase 3 perfectly.
As you may observe, you don't stack with the party most of the time, unless it is necessary for your to take fire hits, thunder hits, sharing Thermionic. Exert your sphere of influence near Nael away from the MT and nobody else is supposed to step within it, since there's so much space else where for ranged to be standing. Not even the OT, sorry melee DPS > OT DPS anyway so tell him politely to f off and stand elsewhereOT's only main role in P4 is to soak damage for claw anyway.

about novus, i have attached 31 det and 22 crit now i dosen't know what i should do...
aim for 31 det and 22 crit and 22 accuracy or make like high allagan spear so 32 det and 44 crit ?
the first setup could be more versatile? i thought i can choose some det gear instead of accuacy (because det is better than crit)
let me know what do u thinkg about that
