    Or if I happen to be on the zone, someone shouts for the first time, and by the time I get there they're already at it.

    They need to be powerful enough for it to be suicide to early pull, this way more people will get a chance.

    Sorry to break it to you, but working as intended. Original design of hunts is if the group finds it, they kill it and get the reward. The act of being courteous and waiting for the server is purely on the community's end and not the developer. They do not have the responsibility to make it where you have to wait for everyone to claim it. They only change what they believe needs to be changed. Hunts are not broken by any means by design, the only fault it has is that the rewards for doing them are too high, which causes the chaos you see now.
