    S and A Elite Marks

    Dear SE, please make rank A and S more powerful. So powerful it would require a minimum of three full parties for A, and four full parties for S.

    This way players with ADD who early pull after 3 seconds of shouting <pos> can stop doing this crap and we can all get our seals and be happy.

    Well it would also help if people don't act like headless chicken the second an early puller is pulling. Usually you have 1 or maybe 5 trolls who run into the mob and pull on sight....the rest of the 100 players waiting around then pew pew pew their minds out just in case they might miss something.

    Let those trolls die and they will rethink whether it is such a grand idea to pull. Because it is actually pretty embarrassing running into the mob and then dying 5 seconds later because nobody helped

    Of course, I do see the problems with getting 100 people to NOT react to a mob name suddenly turning red. It's like a freaking lemming rush that is unstoppable.

    I for one would agree. They are so easy, its ridiculous...

    Yet some people still get steamrolled by S ranks, and some As (Maahes and Marraco mostly).

    Also, for the love of christ, I wish they were harder and it was also harder to get full credit. Saturday night an S spawned (forget his name, the catoblepas like creature similar to the boss in halatali hm) and I formed a party of 8. 6 people died while the mob was at 70% life, excluding my healer friend and myself. We ALL got full credit. Don't know if its because we were epic as hell or if its just a give-away at a certain point. The rest of the party was like wtf how did that just happen?

    SE, come on. If you are going to keep As and Ss the way they are, at least add a higher tier that can easily kill large quantities of people.

    i just remembers something as I am typing this. About a week ago at approximately 5am est, my fc and I hunted down maraco and it was just us 8. He was actually quite difficult using a balanced party of 2/2/4. If this is what SE intended from the start then I hate to say it but claiming should have been a thing.

    Wouldn't that just make hunts more powerful than Coil bosses if it would require three parties just to kill? Unless by "powerful" you just mean "Increase their HP."

I even tell people as the mass of adventurers lie in wait to be kind to fellow hunters and wait 2-3 minutes. even so, when you announce its dead, you get the WTFs and the SMHs and the other various insults.

    When I wasn't actively hunting and was relying on LS calls, if I didn't make it, I didn't make it. No complaints, just the way the cookie crumbles.

    its open world content though. And for the record, it SHOULD be closer to coil difficulty considering the loot they drop. They essentially drop alexandrite, sands, oils, and tomes. Coil drops the same thing basically, so yeah. Closer difficulty would be about right.

    Coil is also optimized for 8 people. I feel that A ranks were intended to be for 8 but more than likely 50 people or more just destroy it as if it were a dung midge swarm. If SE were monitoring the state of the hunt, they should realize that they either needed to make it a claim system, or tune the bosses for much more than 8 people. Have you ever seen just one party fighting an A rank? not likely.

Others could not interfere and you had to meet conditions like gaining points in a faction. Perhaps use GC seals to buy the guildleve. Would make seals relevant again.

    But on the topic. A lot of people don't actively hunt though, thus making the thrill of the chase moot. I for one, did enjoy hunting them, so yes I do agree with you there. In terms of making the hunt worse by making them harder, I guess it would just have to be a deal with it type of thing. Either that or SE needs to make, as you suggested, an open world boss system that can be difficult and rewarding, but also exclusive to the party/alliance that finds it.

    The reason we shouldn't be concern if they're as powerful as coil mobs is because this is a world event, this is something an unlimited amount of people can sign on. S ranks need to be ridiculously powerful and A ranks powerful enough for players to form parties for at least 5 minutes.

    People don't wait at all, I'm telling you, I look at PF every few minutes, and I swear I see an icon pop "This zone's hunt' as soon as I join they say "dead"

    Or if I happen to be on the zone, someone shouts for the first time, and by the time I get there they're already at it.

    They need to be powerful enough for it to be suicide to early pull, this way more people will get a chance.

    Early pull=wipe
