    Except it wouldn't change a thing. As soon as someone pulls, everyone is going to follow suit to begin with. Making a mark stupidly powerful just to give laggers a shot to come in is a bad design; you're basically swapping the problem of "punish the player for not being at the right place at the right time" to "punish the player for not waiting on 5 other players to show up, forcing the other 40 to wait". Having a power race in enemy design is lazy.

    Sorry to break it to you, but working as intended. Original design of hunts is if the group finds it, they kill it and get the reward. The act of being courteous and waiting for the server is purely on the community's end and not the developer. They do not have the responsibility to make it where you have to wait for everyone to claim it. They only change what they believe needs to be changed. Hunts are not broken by any means by design, the only fault it has is that the rewards for doing them are too high, which causes the chaos you see now.

    What I meant though is that at some point you have maybe 2 groups standing there waiting for the rest...or it has just been announced in general chat and 5 sec later the troll runs in and pulls. I do think that a common courtesy time should be granted after it has been announced in general chat. I am not saying 10 min but more than 30 sec for sure, depending on where the mob spawns. In the end though you are right, if you miss it, you miss it but people should at least have a chance to get there.

    the problem is not everyone will be happy. The common denominator here is that people shouldn't feel obligated to wait to slay a mark that they hunted in the first place. I don't care about waiting for people but after a point its ridiculous.

    Also, the increase in difficulty isn't for helping late arrivers get there on time, its for the simple fact that they are too easy to begin with.

    Once stuff you can currently get with allied seals are no longer worth getting and SE has to add in new rewards HOPEFULLY the hunt system will be redone. SE can't make any changes now cause people will cry about the "work" they put in to get their stuffs and how unfairly easy it would be with any changes.

    In an ideal world, yes there would be no such thing as early pulling, but some servers have created a culture of "wait for people" which admittedly I helped create on Goblin. This was done because people bitched and moaned so much but they missed the point entirely. I think SE wanted it to be easy to get gear via the hunt, but I don't think they anticipated servers allying within themselves to allow people server wide to get easy gear.

    I also wholeheartedly agree with u about the future rewards for the hunt. Im OK with them still dropping soldiery and mythology as they are going to start getting phased out in 2.4 I spent a good 4k seals on vanity (very impulsive person when it comes to vanity lol) before i even spent seals on a book or alexandrite and I still got my novus and all the gear I wanted from the hunt. its too much.

    The main problem is this, on crowded servers, any rank marks will be dead within seconds. A lot of players have problems of marks not showing up etc... so they can't get credits. On the other hand, I am in Belias, where it is never a problem to do hunt, because there are barely enough players to do it. So if SE makes Hunt mob very powerful, smaller servers will have a big problem trying to kill these mobs.

    Either SE need to adjust mob strength in relation to how many players tagging it, immediately put triple the amount of HP if detecting more than X numbers of people. Or they really need to put FIRST priority for your party members and the monster only to load, everyone else can be damn and disappear.

    This is more a world/server issue

    On Leviathan we for the most part have no problems getting our A and S kills, sure there is an outside party here and there, but the majority of kills is always through our linkshell and we try to maintain rules about the kills as well,

    its not SE fault for the lack of discipline and structure in the community but the community's own fault. At this rate im expecting someone to blame SE for not having milk in the fridge for their fruity pebbles by next week.
