well thats the so much loved hardcore party way. many ppl love it. so i do too.
anyway other ppl need leves and quest too (i like them too) so why nerf them so much... agree with u too.

Completely support op. SP is nerfed and the game doesn't seem fun anymore. I don't enjoy having to rest every few minutes. And you can't really solo as melee jobs anymore since cure takes too much mp now.

Agree.... leves nerfed too much... im an hardcore player... but i dont like waste my time for 1k sp in total...
Too much mp costs... and im mage class in my soul, know what to do in fight... but too much costs...
BUT more important!!!
Give us the sweet ,godly ,faster ,clear and perfect search system of FFXI.
Was so easy... logged in game, open menu click on seek party... got invites and sent invites... few minutes and the party was ready to go!
Now doesnt work this new useless system.... doesnt work at all.
Please fix those things. i wanna lvl up not die in town shoutin in the wind...

Slowing it down to 12 years to get to rank 50, as someone pointed out? Sounds a bit harsh to me..
But at least it's a safe way to get people pissed at you.
I'm not that far yet, but I'm not happy with these changes, either.
Quests may be a great way for ranking up in other games, which have tons of quests, but FFXIV hasn't.
So if it's so easy and even better than before to rank up, tell us some solid facts on how to do it.

that was a calculation for all 18 jobs to 50.... Not just 1 unsure if you caught that... also that is if you as a player did nothing but leve's everyday and that is it... Trust me there is a lot to do, just people can't get out of the rutt they were conditioned to of: " OMG THEZE 6 LEVE"S ARE TEH BOMB MUST HAVE THESE LEVE'S ONRY 4 TEHZ PARTAZ!!! WUT THEY NERFED THEMZ?!?! ZOMGWTFBBQSAUCE!!!!!! I CAN'TZ THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE TO DU'S ANIES MOERZ MUZT COMPRAINZ!" When they could go oh sweet I have all these quests to do these dungeons to try and omfg look at all these new mob's and redistribution!!!! I can get some of my game friends I have made or find new ones in town to go find these mobs and kill them! because there is a greater/endless supply of them every 36 hours instead of 8....

edit: also want to point out what has already been, leve's are solo content now, and if partying do all the leve's you can not limit yourself to a select few because they had the "best return"

Leves aren't even good enough to be solo content unless you want to make gil and even then the gil sucks a lot now.

I think some people will like the game more now and some will like it less. I did the starter quests for all 3 cities companies and did the R25 dungeon thats been the extent of my play since the patch. I dont like the way auto attack works personally if anything makes me leave this game quick its gonna be the auto attack i think.

I hate to say this but you can get 22k+ an hr grinding on 300+ sp mobs with at least 3-4 ppl i use to do this pre 1.18 with friends cause we didn't not like to fail leve quest shit much.

ok but if arent 45+ no dungeons at all... mobs there 1 shoot u.
plus if ppl want lvl up, let them lvl up... who doesnt want to lvl up, will choose what to do.
but if nerf leves, dont give us a seek party system that works good like in XI, how i can lvl up to do cool things ..i just can go take a walk and stop.
