I hate to say this but you can get 22k+ an hr grinding on 300+ sp mobs with at least 3-4 ppl i use to do this pre 1.18 with friends cause we didn't not like to fail leve quest shit much.

eheh ok but if now u cant find ppl... i know too good areas to go grind in party.... but no party.

anyway, wont make ppl start think im biatchin around... i just want 2 things i mentioned before.
For else i played 8years + at ffxi and i know new things(patches,updates,etc) will be given to us time by time.

He also stated it is best for those casuals that have less time during the work week to jump on get a few xp and then on the weekend if they want get on with there friends and do activities (non-leves) that have a higher SP return, and more time consuming. They are not meant to be the backbone of anything anymore, now they are as I envisioned them "daily" repeatable quests there to fill in the time when you have nothing else to do or waiting for something more important to start... I was so angered by the fact that I was limited to just Leve's to level up I got bored with it at about r20 I stuck around because I made friends and had fun talking to them, exploring the world and the bits of story we get over time. I enjoy "grind" party's because I get a new group of people to talk to play with and have fun with, it is a great experience everytime. Unless you are one to centrally think of just the XP. Also people must of forgot or never played 11 where is the praise of sweet no longer capped xp of 200xp a kill no matter the level discrepency until chain kills started (also this is pre easy mode XI where you can get 30-90 in a day or 2 now)

I also agree with the lack of the seeking party function that is lacking I don't understand how after 8 years of XI they couldnt implement it. I was happy though you can label yourself as seeking party now for recruit feature.

Yoshi-P hasn't QUITE lied.

In the short term, he did concede it would seem like SP had been nerfed. 1.18 is by no means meant to be the miracle patch. It was designed to lay in the foundations for the new system.

It's only step 1 of many. The SP adjustments that would make this game less grindy won't be put in until later patches. So for the foreseeable short term... our sp is going to be crap (unless you're doing crafting leves.... in which case omg love the bonus sp)

We can call him a liar if after patch 1.20 or 1.21 still has horrific grind.

We're doing an SP test party for leves at this very moment. The bonuses are awesome! If you pop the leve and whoever links it gets the same bonus as the person who pops it. I just got a bonus of over 6k SP just finishing a leve at Broken Water with a full party. High SP can be done and it's actually better than the old system if you know how to do it right.

well u need full party for that so that the deal if in eleven at the begigng was a pain to get party iamgin this that is 8 people the combat system was wel done fixed why do they nerf the progres nobody was complaining about it the problem was teh content and battle system now that u fix the battle system u screw the progres and now u need to go like to the endo of the world that takes 1 hr just to tkae 2k exp it noth worth it or put mounts to move fater

Few SP? Right. Very few. With pretty much every possible way of ranking up.
I also remember Yoshi saying he wants to rework the behests, to become a conquest battle.
It sounded like a lot of fun, but no one is going to do them if they are not benefical at all, like they are now.

Also, about the weekend part:
Maybe you don't have many ingame friends, because talking to each other seems to be forbidden in this game or something, at least that's how most people act ingame. Getting together with random strangers is even worse, because it's hard to find someone with this kind of party search function, and when you finally got together to play, it's not working out because people won't listen and everyone is just thinking of themselves and doing stupid things and there's no way to take care of their faults by healing more, because of the Magic nerf.

Basically, I was annoyed with leves.
I don't really mind them being nerfed. Heck, if you asked me, I would have been fine with them being removed overall.
But NOT without a proper replacement. And especially not, when all the other methods like behests got nerfed, too!@-@"

i agree but no one put's them self up for recruitment.

Main issue with exp now isn't that it's not enough mobs. Its that mobs all don't give the same exp for a kill i think all mobs should follow the same formula here's an example of what it i think it should be.

Hit an instance dungeon for great SP. Seek party is in game now, but its not really implemented as easy as the XI system.
