Seeing as you're in a small casual FC, you might have to consider what is most important to you, and find some birds-of-a-feather to flock with. Your thoughts that the only people who ever do T5 are people who haven't done it, is unfortunately a problem with visibility. You don't see them in PF or shouting so they must not exist.
If you shouted in Mor Dhona that you wanted to buy a T5 clear, you'd probably have people fighting for your attention. This goes back to asking what you want out of the game. If you just want to get a clear, see the story and move on to second coils, this is the road to take. If you want to be a part of a group that takes raiding seriously, you need to put yourself out there and find a good raiding linkshell, or be willing to part ways with your current FC, who can still be on your friends list, or share another Linkshell.

Edit:
The only threatening mechanics to worry about in T5 anymore are divebombs (run out of ditch, then back in) and twisters (focus target boss, strafe 5 yalms when casting). I feel with those 2 things in consideration T5 is rewarding people properly.

yeah I have thought about it but I am good friends with my fc members and that is more important to me on the end than anything else so I don't want to leave them.
