However, there's nothing in that notification that says the 100 tome bonus is to encourage us to allow people to slow the dungeon down with full length cutscenes.
There's such a thing as reading between the lines, y'know...

And I want to clarify something extra here. There are techhnically -two- MS Roulette bonuses.
0) Base reward of 20 tomestones for clearing the dungeon. This is awarded to all players every time.
1) Daily reward of 110 tomestones for clearing the dungeon via Duty Roulette. This is awarded to the players who used DR to join.
2) First-timer bonus of 100 tomestones for clearing the dungeon with members who have never cleared the duty before. This is applied to all players, but only if a first-timer is in the party (and online/in party at the time of clear).
=230 total tomestones

The second bonus is what I'm talking about. This is an -additional- bonus to entice players to be kind towards and not shun new players, and be willing to shepherd them through content. If I get a first-timer bonus on, say, Leviathan HM, I think it is not an unreasonable expectation that to earn that bonus (75) mythology, that I explain to the new players what is needed of them (monks don't stun Wavetooth, bards hit tail, mages hit head, someone must operate Elemental Converter to stop Tidal Wave dealing wipe damage). The same expectation applies to Main Story dungeons, and to think that it's even remotely acceptable to demand that you both get a 100 myth bonus -and- be permitted to ruin the experience of someone finishing the story for the first time, all so you can get your supposedly "earned" reward a few minutes quicker, is frankly absurd and selfish to a baffling degree.
