I haven't done any dungeons past level 25 and I'm gonna be the newbie so which way should I que up for dungeons that will give me the best chance to be able to watch cut scenes without making the elites all angry and want to kick me? Which one gives them a bonus for me being a firstie please?
DF is the Duty Finder. You queue up and it will throw you into the dungeon of your choice with a random group of people from your server and other servers. You'll have a Tank, Healer, and two DPS. If its a 8 man dungeon you'll have 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 4 DPS.

PF is the Party Finder. You can use this to form a group from members of your server only. Its just to help form the group. It can be used for dungeons or Fates or just about anything a group can do together. They will use the DF to get into a dungeon, but since its a preformed group, there is no queue as long as its a full group for the dungeon (4 or 8 players).

Roulette is a daily bonus to doing dungeons in the DF. You get a random dungeon and get extra exp, gil, and later (50) mythology tomestones. Great way to get a stack of exp for a leveling character. At first only the low level duty roulette is available. At 50 you can unlock the others.

To bring you on subject. The Main Scenario Duty Roulette is there to entice more people to do the two story dungeons Castrum Meridium, and Praetorium (the dungeons we are talking about). These dungeons do not reward gear from bosses. It is just a story thing with cutscenes and interesting bosses. But they have to be completed to finish the main story quest (which opens up the rest of the game, the end game if you will). So in order for the queues to be shorter for newbies. They gave a main scenario duty roulette to allow vets to run these dungeons again for a reward.

The issue at hand is they don't typically like watching cutscenes and will skip them to continuing clearing trash mobs and in some cases, bosses. All the while the newbies are still watching the cutscenes. Some people are jerks and will vote kick the newbies out of the dungeon for watching them. Some are jerks because they don't like some veterans clearing ahead.

For people like me, I compromise and let the vets clear ahead, WHILE the newbies watch the cutscenes, when I run these dungeons. The dungeons are pretty easy enough that they don't require all 8 people to be present for all of the encounters. And only a few boss encounters will lock a newbie out if they were in a cutscene while the boss was initiated. But the two important boss fights put the newbie in the arena when they are done watching. Which is Gaius and Ultima Weapon. I also give advice that helps the newbies in such boss encounters. So far its worked well.

And it works well enough to make both sides happy ingame (which is what matters, as forum opinion is vastly different then what I see ingame) as I tend to get 3-6 commendations for explaining my point and letting everyone have their cake, so to speak.
