What am i doing wrong in the Ixal quests?

You all know the solution. Level your crafter... After all, these are crafting related quests.

Level 50 cap, you can not do those quests with level 50 and not on all servers materia are "cheap"... then to meld them with that stupid RNG...
3 Stars? Fine for you, but "rewarding" when others cant do it? You kidding, or?

i49 blacksmith (with the Ehcatl wristguards equipped obviously) - all HQ stuff for lv50 (not the new ones because screw those prices and no materia either because screw those prices) - and every time I have to do it I have like 10-15 NQ (if not more) by the time I manage the three HQs. It just doesn't make sense, the quest itself having only lv16 requirement, and most other things we have to craft, even the HQs, are as easy to achieve as they come, especially with a lv50 crafter, but then we have this (and I believe one or two more such) that are just...what the heck...? I'd really like it if someone explained the logic.
(On a broader level, this isn't the only part of patch 2.3(5) where I feel like SE seriously mis-tweaked certain factors, completely losing the balance of things. :/)

Agree, it feels like some quests are made for 3 Star Crafters
