what wrong with that some consider game as real life ... like if i would kill a monster and heal people in real life .. why not say in game no sorry i dont raise you or heal you in real life as doctor i get paid for that .... duhhh

Yes, but now go out to town and teach random stranger number 3. You have no obligations to a stranger. Yet you do have some to family members, and a lesser extent friends.

i do that alot at work(store - im not paid to teach) i meet alot of foreign student or touriste who dont know the language well or at all ..i help them i dont tell them "go out of this country and come back when you'll learn it well" ... i help them tell them how its call in my language ..and i got plenty of friends and get new people as friend who want to learn my language but i dont want to be teacher (paid job) its just for fun and help ..when i ask something of their country or language they return the favor.

its the thing in the game too ... helping people without being a mean player will turn good i saw people who i meet in other instance that i helped and they got strong fast that they were the one who helped me by returning favor. that how you built a community ..not by saying get out and come back when you good or i will kick you and blacklist you .... best way to make friend??

You aren't having a discussion with players who are interested in the entire experience of playing an mmo. You are having a discussion with players who see only the completion of a piece of content as worth their time, and the other people in the party might as well be NPCs to them. There is no reasoning with such individuals, but I enjoyed reading your post.

And I made some awesome friends that way in FFXI. This game is kind of different. You have to repeat a dungeon so many times, that you can get frustrated even if the run goes OK. I kind of can see how easy it is for someone to lash out at someone because of this. If you have to run something over, and over and over again, then add onto that that they might have explained it 50+ times.

Anyway, I did not say I had anything against teaching someone. I only got a problem with those that think it's something that the older player must do. It's completely optional for anyone to teach another player.

I know me that sometime when a person enter the dungeon and say "im new what to do" is kinda harsh but me i been in some dungeon who i only say "first time here" to show it my first time and people get piss off and kick me when i didnt ask for anything i wanted to learn by doing it ...i rarely ask what to do i notice the mechanic easy. so i wonder why do we some people generalise that new people are forced to watch video when some prefer to learn without asking advice but if we give some to them without they ask they will be happy and enjoy the game.

i did T1-T4 (when it was week lock) with FC.. with raidcall ...and got to tell you something i got more fun and laugh not seeing video and some saw it and with advice still get wipe for little thing but still laugh about it and have fun.. than get piss off after few wipe and leave ....

and sometime in Dungeon without knowing they can end up with someone who Lag .. he get wipe and all get wipe ...they will get piss off at the player for that ?? and kick him cos of that too???

and i do in dungeon get some party(all first timer) who when we get wipe by suprise ..we are like :" O.O WTH was that" , "OMG!!" , "didnt see that coming" and laugh about it ..and try again .. but when we are with the SR .. its Hello and silence till we get " you ***** damn **** learn how to play you *****" the player left the party ..... but if the person is at lvl 50 with his character in a lvl 50 dungeon cos he normaly learn it unless he speed lvl it in fate ... but normal new player playing on main learned all dungeon till dungeon 50 right ?
