So mudras is basically some type of magic. So will Ninjas be DEX/INT base or STR/INT base.

From the video it looks like they have a couple debuffs, (one which is the second part of a combo) and a silence on a 30 second CD. Mudras.. have a 20 second CD after they're set off, and the skill that triggers them changes icons to reflect which move it's going to do. That teleport seems to have a 60 second CD..

I think while a melee mage stat orientation would be cool I don't think it would fit with Rogue as a class and that would mean Rogue gear would have a different focus than Ninja gear.. you'd have a weird divide. Str/Dex I think makes more sense for that reason.

They hadn't decided yet what stat they would use, but str or dex. I'm 99.9% sure it will be str only, no dex or int.
Mudras isn't magic, so it's not gonna be int. But str or dex based spell-like abilities, dont make sense either....but will probably be, for simplicity.
should be that hard to believe in a STR based Elemental attack.
After all Pug/MNK has Second Wind which is a healing skill that has its potency based on Pug/MNK Damage from STR.

2nd wind is a physical skill, so str is fine. spitting fireballs, not so much
2nd wind is kind of what a lot of anime heroes do, when they get wiped-out...they get an energy boost, and get up, get pounded some more to no effect, enemy gets shocked that nothing happens. yada yada.

I didn't partake in it myself, but I'll take your advice.
