Desynthesis Endgame Guide

I would love to know what your numbers were from you testing, thanks to this guide I decided to save up and do a test run for myself. Since Coke seems to stay between 9 and 10k I decided to try the summoning bells. I only payed for the Scheelite and the Petrified logs since I am able to farm the rest easily at this point. I payed a little less than 25k overall per summoning bell and I mass produced (thanks to netflix and macros) 100 summoning bells on saturday. I am at 100 bsm before i began and these were my results

32 Botchs
18 Fieldcraft 3 Demimateria
06 Clear 3 Demimateria

The rest were a mix of wolfram ingots ancient lumber and my favorite the feather.

By my math I could only get 28 darksteel ingot at the almost same cost as the 100 summoning bells and at this time I would be surprised if I got same or higher result out of 28 weapon parts made from the the darksteel ingots. This guide I would say has saved me alot of gil pain, thank you!

Okay, so, you're saying you got 18 FC3s from 68 successful desynths. That's awesome! Much better results than I've gotten so far. Your results are much better than what I've been seeing, but I haven't desynthed that many yet.

My successful i90 desynths:
39 Carbuncle Chronometers: 8 FC3s
7 Summoning Bells (failed ~43 so far ): 1 FC3
51 Gold Spectacles: 9 BC3s

Combining these, I get:
97 i90 desynths: 18 Demimateria IIIs (EY: 0.186)

Throwing in yours, I get:
165 i90 desynths: 36 Demimateria IIIs (EY: 0.22)

So, it looks like the EY is converging on the same value as for i70 items. The only numbers I have for that right now are:

100 Artisan's Spectacles: 23 FC3s (EY: 0.23) [also, 14 Mastercrafts]

Not sure if Artisan's has the same yield rate as other i70 items.

So, in conclusion, i90 isn't worse than i70 like my math was telling me, it's equal to it. I just have crap luck.

I have been doing desync on 2 star furniture and I noticed that as your desync level gets closer to 90, (ie 87 onwards), the chances of Field III gets higher.

So, I'm increasingly seeing that while the yields for i90 and i70 are about the same, i70 is far more reliable. I'll continue making adjustments to the guide with this in mind.

Yes, personally I'm seeing that i70 seems to be more reliable. It happened to both my current desync classes. While at lvl 70 desyncing two star furnitures, it doesn't generate Field III at all. But when I reached lvl 80, it started to appear once in a blue moon, and as I crossed level 85, two stars seems to drop more.

It leads me to believe sufficient proficiency, maybe at least 15 level desync level higher than the item level, is required to have a steadier chance at Field III

Two nights ago, I desynced 20 two star furniture (successful).

Last night I did a batch if 11 two star furniture (successful) desyncs and yielded 4 Field III

I will try to update again if I managed to do large batches of furniture again. Desync seems to be pretty active on my server, certain materials doesn't come by easy, cheap, and in large quantities.

This can be used, to get past the i55 gap as weaver, if fleeces are ridiculously expensive like on my server, lot of components but they are very cheap. Those also provide fieldcraft2 demimaterias.

Good point! I'll add that. Interesting that vanity gear desynths to Fieldcraft Demis. I should see if there are any places where this is extremely useful.
