Anyone know when they are going to implement the ability to lock your desynth level? Going through low level desynths on your capped class for every 3 or so desynths in your new class just so you don't lose your capped desynth class is a real pain.

We can already desynth i95 weapons. (source)http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...808-11-2014%29
Q: Currently it's not possible to desynthesize item level 95 equipment, but in the future will it be possible?
A: Komoto: Yes, it will. Once the cap is raised on average item level, players will be able to desynthesize item level 95 equipment.
Yoshida: I mentioned this briefly in the past, but the current desynthesis skill maximum is 300, but we are planning to raise this to 400 with the cap increase.
Yeah, that question/response really confused me...

That can be very inaccurate based on what you're going to do for desynth fodder. If your interest is in getting some extra gil from stuff you get in brayflox, especially if you go as a tank, ltw/arm/gsm is the best coverage of the possible drops there. You don't need all 3 craft choices to be best for getting 1 type of materia; you only need 1 go-to craft for that, and gsm covers that quite nicely. Then your best plan of attack is to get the best coverage on other things with the other 2.

Should be quite obvious they're referring to non-crafted items, like myth/allagan gear.
I checked the video just to be sure and I think it's just a mistranslatio. The question asked was if they would eventually let i90 items be desynthed. The slight pause/drag in the question when mentioning i90 probably confused the translator into thinking he said i95.

Horned Hatched is actually i48, like the other recipes above it (the recipe levels are irrelevant to the item level)dSkill 50-54: Mythril File (i40) [77% - 83.6%] (buy the mythril ingots from the Amal'ja vendor) {probably better choices here}
dSkill 54-64: Horned Hatchet (i49) [60% - 77.5%] (1x FC1, push this as far as you can)
I prefered making Bas-Relief Cobalt Saws (top of the 46-50 recipes in BSM) as they required only 3 mats, none are leather or sinews (expensive and annoying to farm up) and started at 50 and made it all the way to 64 with 150 of them.
Lots of FC1 and FC1x2 from those Saws.
Actually, that's incorrect. Item level is what doesn't matter. Recipe level determines chance of success and experience gained. Otherwise, Vanity items would be trivial to desynth and give nothing exciting. Except, items like the Sea Breeze Summer Pareo is not that easy to desynth.

Well in any case, this worked better for me for less mats and better returns~
And just did BSM 75-92 with Summoning Bells, so many broken and only got 1 Fieldcraft out of them all the way to 92. Might've been better to just buy FCIII instead of buying all those mats for summoning bells but I wouldn't have gotten to 92 any other way x;
Has anyone ever gotten a rose gold ingot from the i80 accessories? I keep getting nuggets...going by the ratio of nuggets to ingots on darklight I should've had several ingots by now.
Edit: I did just get a darksteel ingot from some heavy armor there.
