Similar to what WoW did... instead of friend list they had "Real ID", which is basically now your battle net account ID. So if S/E could create a system where you could create another alias for your account outside of your email and create an S/E account friend list, it'd be possible. But that would require them to work with more than just the FF14 team probably.
