I tried most things but things like crafting and dailies are just way too boring for me.
My routine looks somewhat like this:

Raid on Tuesday, then find a raid for my alt

That's all well and good and I'm glad there are parts of the game you like but there is no rational reason for you to belittle the input of those who are providing feedback for aspects of the game in which you don't even partake. You have relatively less investment in the game and fixing things that don't currently have an effect on you would continue not having an effect on you. Even if Novus was BiS you and like-minded people still wouldn't even think about attempting to get it. The parts of the game less invested players enjoy wouldn't even exist if their weren't enough people interested in the game as a whole as well as a regular, invested playerbase. It's de facto counterproductive to your own agenda to want more invested players to hate the game. Invested players are a much more reliable revenue stream and much harder to replace than their fickle FotM-esque counterparts. Content that alienates such a large percentage of players must be responsibly addressed.

what is the point of having full 110 gear and an Animus weapon when noone wants you in their raidgroup because you can't play for shit
By no stretch of logic does Atma/Animus/Novus ownership imply lack of skill, especially not in the modern reality of lowest-common-denominator online gaming and particularly not with FFXIV's choreographed endgame "mechanics."

The relic is actually "For Casuals", as an alternative to the end game raid that is actually fundamental to FFXIV core.
While I could be wrong, I don't recall seeing the devs express that opinion at any time. Also, calling SCOB core is illogical. If all non-SCOB ready players quit right now the game would flop overnight. Hardly core by any stretch, nor are SCOB-only subscribers though it may be the most central aspect of their personal playtime.

The Raid drops will always be the gold standard.
This would be a myopic stance even if it wasn't for the fact that there's 27 years of FF history that says otherwise. As relic progression compounds with each additional tier it grows increasingly difficult for anyone to rationalize RNG drops remaining superior indefinitely. It would be a bastardization of FF in general and completely marginalize the lore and atmosphere of the game and the series.
