Then please tell me why? Why wouldn't you like it with those 3 limitations? I am curious how it is immersion-breaking to you. What about those 3 limitations is bad, in your opinion?
For those joining us late, this is the proposal in question:
Manual jump with the following restrictions:
-No Jumping off places that are "too high" (this avoids having to add falling damage).
-Limiting height of jump, just enough to get you up a small hill or something. (this avoids having to redesign entire areas)
-Keeping invisible walls in certain areas (this avoids people getting into places they aren't supposed to and having to redesign said areas).
