Novus weapon upgrade system findings

I don't think that would be such a good idea. Say I have Animus weapon and I'm farming for Alexandrite and We could get Atma/Alex, I get the feeling SE would screw me over and I would get Atma over Alex. Maybe if Alexandrites didn't drop from Fates then, Yes I would go for this. I just think it would screw players over having Both Alex/Atma drop while Animus is equipped. But maybe they could make it so if you are a Novus holder let Atma drop?

Or they would have to increase the Drop rate of both to more than 1% or less.

It's not that big concern. Even if they didn't allow both to drop at the same time and gave priority to the atma, it's still not a big deal. Given the drop rate for alexandrite, this would only happen to you one out of every 100 (or so) times an atma dropped, ie almost never.

Its good advice that avoid doing Curtana Novus for now, do not exchange Curtana Novus if you are doing it or almost complete it OR you risk unable to get Alexandrite from FATE

Even though, you can still farm myth from Brayfox speed run and get map exchanged for Alexandrite still

Has this issue been addressed by the devs yet? I had no idea there was a bug in it until I came to these forums. Was wondering why nothing was dropping from all the fates I did as I am 8 away from completion.

Since I didn't see this covered in this thread, for materia infusion purposes the Omnilex (And presumably the Thyrus) count as already having 9 grade 1 materia infused in the scroll. So you infuse 2 grade 1 heaven's eye materia before it moves to needing grade 2, but you do need 11 grade 2, 11 grade 3 and 11 grade 4 materia to complete capping out the stat.

So you infuse 2 grade 1 heaven's eye materia before it moves to needing grade 2, but you do need 11 grade 2, 11 grade 3 and 11 grade 4 materia to complete capping out the stat.

Juz a curious idea,

Since we have a Novus weapon to customize secondary stats,
Will We have a Relic Armor system for use to customize secondary stats,

So we can hv a full Relic character. ...lol

After reading the quest text it sounds like I now will have to buy another ink for every 5 materia melded to make a new scroll. Is this right? Since the op was never fully updated it doesnt say. Thats another 7000 myth just for ink. Tell me its not so.

The ink are just for buying the scroll, once you have it, you wont need anymore ink for this weapon

While interesting, I'm confused as to why anyone would want to add accuracy over the other stats onto Omnilex and Thyrus.
Personally I'm currently going for max tier 3 materia det/pie/spell speed for my Thyrus.
