In my opinion that's just being selfish.

I think the problem is that there is ONLY one way to play, and ONLY one build of success. Couple this with this lack of consequence from DF and the lack of social community, and you have people chafing under the lack of choice.

You don't need a program to see the difference in damage between Blizzard and Fire.
A quick run down in basic numbers is pretty much this
A Fire 3 with no fire charges can hit for 600.
With charges a Fire can hit for 600 and I believe Fire 3 is about double that give or take
Blizzard III hits for about 550 with or without charges.

So no matter how much you try to hide it, Ice spells are hugely inferior to Fire spells and when used it's extremely noticeable how feeble they are compared to fire.

AKA A Fire spell with full fire charges is stronger than a Blizzard III.

I think an issue is because people see the ice spells do damage they think it's a damage spell, but the truth is Blizzard spells are enfeeble spells, Blizzard is a single target Bind heavy spell, Blizzard II and Freeze are an AOE bind spell, with Freeze being superior in it's ability to select it's AOE destination while Blizzard II is targeted around user.

Yes, when he started to to "attempt mpk" we had enough and voted him out. Later than I wanted to, but he purposefully would ignore lotting on treasures so that isn't possible (which was a reason I slowed down pulling so we could get rid of him if he causes more wipes).

And like some said, no I did not use any form of parser.
Seeing the BLM's MP bar drop down fill (very) slowly up again and drop down again but the Mobs barely take a scratch, something is off.
I learned to watch the Party field to see what my Members are doing, and ask them to do certain things or refrain from doing certain things. I stay friendly for a long time, the more time goes by the more salty I get. Me getting a fit and calling to arms against a certain member of a party happened only ONCE, strangely enough too in AK (looong before nerf)

    Edit:
Since when is it possible, to answer/post in this forum, without attaching a character to the Forum name? or is my forum view a bit bugged up

If someone is ignoring their procs, neglecting key class traits (thundercloud/river of blood etc) and using random attacks in random orders - don't need a program to see that, just eyes.

That's a bit of an extreme view, don't you think? I screw up on my BLM rotation all the time and I haven't researched how to optimize it (don't play it much) but it's never been a point of contention. Nobody has ever seemed to care. Decent is plenty fine.

What RedAntares was saying was that it's a team game, and you should go in expecting to work together and not let them down. That's nowhere near conforming blindly. It is giving up your individuality, however, as that's what a team should be. You're fighting for and with three others.

It's not possible to design a game with this level of interaction with real people that would prevent this. Being "A good game" has nothing to do with it. The only way this game would be ok is if every job was literally one button and it was physically impossible to play more poorly than someone else. That, would be a terribly boring game.

I assume you mean parsers. Which don't, in any way, point out or even make it easy to see someones rotation. You need nothing more than eyes to see a rotation is bad.

So unless you play the class/job you wouldn't know.

Also I've played with many horrible BLM's I don't go ballistic because they don't play like gods.

Sad to say encountered a similar player, low level roulette, ifrit popped, said in party ah sweet nice and fast one.
The tank didn't want to tank well outright refused to tank in fact, they just ran up to ifrit, hit him once then ran off.
We had to wait to be able to kick which in that time he had got us killed several times due to keep pulling ifrit onto healer.
When we eventually managed to kick him, we thought you know what let's just try get this done,
So the monk tanked (bloody amazing job too) healer spam healed, and I dpsd
The tank wasn't even new as they had zenith wep/shield and the 100 armor set.

Actually as a healer, I watch peoples health bars. Guess what is on top of the health bars, a cast bar. You can tell when someone isn't casting certain spells, especially if you have knowledge of the class.
