Take it as you will. All I see is teamwork at the cost of alienating and harassing others players for being part of a different demograph.

I find this ironic considering how many times you've generalized "elitists" just over the past couple of pages I've read.

This isn't MLG so it's very contradicting treating it like if it was MLG.

I was actually going to make a similar comparison... but even if you're on a gym league basketball team or in a community theater production of Hair you're going to have to deal with notions of teamwork; and yeah, with teamwork sometimes comes drama. What you're effectively asking is for the community center to cancel the group productions in favor of your one man show. Bad analogies FTW. But the point remains; what your asking for just comes off as anti-social and rather selfish.

Take any example you want if you don't like the football one. It is a fact of LIFE. You work for the things you earn. No one anywhere including MMOs is entitled to something just because they want it.

If you get lucky and win the MMO lottery and some group is like "hey dude our dps isn't showing up tonight. Want to come and get carried through so the loot doesn't rot?" well congratz. You are still not entitled to these loots you did't work for.

Well superiority complex, looking down on others, trying to exclude rewards because others aren't up to a standard is not really showing anything outside of elitism.

How is anyone looking down on others. You either put the time, energy, and effort into being a raider or you don't. Nothing wrong with being a casual player. The problem is the casual players who think just because they play the game they deserve to beat the final boss. You beat the final boss by successfully overcoming the challenge not by crying until you get the immortality cheat code and stand there auto attacking until it dies.

Explain? By saying they want all the perks while at the same time putting in none of the effort? Actually that is a fact. They are being lazy.

Laziness (also called indolence) is a disinclination to activity or exertion despite having the ability to do so.

They have the ability. They choose not to and instead cry until someone makes it require less exertion.

Again how am I looking down on them? I have plenty of casual friends. Hell most of the people I talk to / play the game with outside of the few hours a week I raid are casuals. The difference between them and the people being discussed in this thread? They aren't crying about how they are entitled to something.

Also you still haven't actually presented an argument. Why should these players (I don't know if you count yourself among them or are just playing devil's advocate) be given all access passes?

Asking for things to be made easier and easier until you beat them with whatever level of effort you choose to put forward is asking for a free access pass.
