Is 1.18 the final straw?

People that give up easy arent real fans and should stop playing games.
Or go to an ugly ass low graphic game designed in 5 year old cartoon style like WoW.
The game is not bad at all.
I played/tested WoW for a month and it's not even close to being as fun like FFXIV.
It's fun now and it only gets better every single month.

Good thing I'm not a real fan then at least I still have a head on my shoulders.

I white knighted this game for the first few months saying all kinds of similar things, until I looked at the bigger picture and realized how shitty of a situation it's in.

I played WoW long ago. I don't play it anymore. I will not play it again. I can however tell you that if you think FFXIV is more fun than WoW you are either a total fanboy, have never actually played (or bothered to enjoy) WoW, or you're a moron. No other options, it's one of those three. I don't like the WoW community, I don't like the game anymore and how much of a time waste it was, but if there's one thing for sure it's the fact that WoW is significantly more entertaining than FFXIV is.

Like I said earlier, Minecraft is a shitload more entertaining than this. You can't get much worse graphically than that, except for maybe Pong or something on atari. If you think graphics are all that it's about, I'll just casually sort you into the "don't know what the hell a videogame is about" generation and walk away.

Unfortunately the discussion is moot to begin with considering there will always be thick-skulled people that will disagree with me about everything because they sit on opinions and not facts, and then when they find out eventually that I was right they'll pretend to have forgotten about it.

-mail system
-larger wards
-ability to kick inactive LS members offline
-ability to trade more than 4 at a time
-3rd retainer on a single character

I'll be here until whatever end this game comes to. BUT I will say that at some point if they don't pick up the pace I will go stomp around some other MMOs for a bit. Right now I play single RPGs alongside this and that's okay.

Yes, crafting does currently include monotony, for the monotonous.

My linkshell had a fishing party the other day.

Ok plenty fun in a group throwing our rods off the side of the cliff.

When that's not the case, i sit here and watch some TV shows i want to finish.
You can argue that this is itself a problem, but it is what it is, for NOW.
I've got each Mining, Botony and Fishing up to near Rank 30 while watching Trigun.

I'm good with that, and you know, even if there WAS content to replace the grind,
I still might have just pounded that enter key and watched Trigun.

But of course, i hope that they do add content for it sooner than later.

I played WoW starting with BC, up to lvl81 into cataclysm and quit for FFXIV, and I think FFXIV is funner >.>. All a matter of personal view.

I dont know if is the final straw , but for regular players (not the fan base) it will definetly have a big impact.

If this does not shows quality development personally will go on with my life again and check back again next patch IF i haven't found anything that keeps me interested.

I know a lot of people are on "stand by" status like myself, for us this patch holds a lot of weight.
