Why do the Egis appearance look awful and unimpressive

I don't think the egis look terrible, though after reading more comments I think they could definitely use some more detail.

I mean, as a SCH, even my fairies have faces and whole moving bodies and overall seem more detailed than any of the egis.

What I don't understand is how carnbucle can look like the carnbucle we always knew and doesn't float around. And then these later egis look like floating...digimons or inflatable balloons.

Why couldn't we get an Ifrit who ran around or a Titan who jumped (creating craters on the GROUND as he jumped following you!) or Garuda distoring the air around you as she flew with you with real wings. Garuda really is the worst egi lol...

I sincerely hope they understand and see why these Summoner/Egi related threads keep coming up a lot and how they should attempt to put a bit more effort into this class.

I leveled SMN all the way to 50. It's actually pretty fun to play, just couldn't get into it a whole lot, the Egi models being my biggest reason. There are other things that I think should be looked at though, for sure.

Come on, really? Of course people are glad to have it, otherwise there wouldn't be people playing it at all. There are just some pretty common issues that people keep bringing up, and I think at least some of them are justifiable. If you're happy with it then that's your right, some aren't, but I think most people have more of an issue with the looks of their Egis.

Just wanting to pipe in and quietly mention lore isn't a good justification for anything... The lore in this game is a total mess with contradictions aplenty...

Just wanted to back you up on that;

Lore tells us;
Primals= Bad for Life and ppl in general. We kill Primals...cause ya know; BAD for Life and Everything. *here comes the /sigh lore twist*
FC Summoning= Good thing, is eco friendly, and doesnt kill the planet, even though that's the number 1 reason we as players kill Primals. And as a FC with only BAD reputation for the Primal, we get to summon and Control it, even though their original beast tribes can't.
So yeah, contradictions.
Gotta love dat lore. Makes sense >.<

I know lore-wise they're supposed to be almost crystalline-like, Aether formed embodiments of their avatars... but geez are they ugly.

More details, most of all more fierce & intense looking.
