In Game DPS Meter

Dps meter is a tool that a bad player could use to improve their performance.
Bad players are going to get kicked from pugs regardless of whether everyone get an official dps meter or not. Because yoshi is ok with 3rd party plugins as long as you dont harrass others over it. So currently we have bad dps remain bad and just get silently get booted or just continue to cause wipes. Im not sure how this is the ideal over actually giving them an extra tool to improve themselves...

Yet the thing players obsessed with numbers wont seem to understand is that fights have their own mechanics and their own HP.

This is the role of the dps

Healer need to beat fight mechanics AND HEAL WELL
Tanks needs to beat fight mechanics AND HOLD HATE (along with using cool-downs properly)
Dps need to beat fight mechanics AND DPS WELL

Why do dps get a free pass ? Maybe its why it is so popular since bad dps is hidden due to no dps meter they can avoid being punished whereas a bad healer/tank is so obvious and thus they are forced to improve . Maybe if bad dps were more obvious there would be more tank and healers lol.
