Acceptable Cash Shop Items: Suggestions!

*Race abilities switch: Allow you to replace with the appearance of one race but the statistics of another. Basically glamour for race selection. Yes this is a minor benefit, but hey, some like myself would buy it. Noticed a few days ago, an Roegadyn the other day had a lower item level gear, but had more HP than my Miqo'te by a few hundred HP even. Not much, but it was disturbing they were lower iLvl than I at the same time.

However, Stat Swapping is okay to you? How is that anything BUT "Pay to Win". It would become expected of everyone that if you want to main tank, better toss them dolla' dolla' bills down or no party for you... Want to main BLM, better swap your stats or be considered gimp...

I don't think they need to add much of anything else to the cash shop. I'm fine with fantasia since as far as I understand they'll be releasing new races and I'm sure some people would like to change to the new one without making a new character. Name change is fine for similar reasons, and server transfers I always felt were a bit pricey for what they are, but whatever. Retainers are already a little much, but at least there's some correlation between the size of your character file on their server and the additional retainer(s), even if they are wildly overvaluing that 1 MB or so.

Subs will decline, not increase. They always do.

Subs will continue to decline with this cash shop feature. Its one thing to have gender/race/name change available, its a completely different game if you add armor, bardings, and things like that.

SE needs to get their head out of their asses and not go through with this cash shop.

Your actually getting the game mechanics of another race, not more than what you had. So another player could have that same exact character stats with out paying more, but look different. There is nothing but aesthetics change and thus does not effect the gameplay. I do believe fantasia and this option probably needs to be limited to once ever month to keep it from getting silly personally.

I could never, not even once accept something that gave even a minor benefit if you had to pay with real money (no matter how useless it might seem, it still matters). I can accept anything that made things look good, perhaps some mounts or cool looking armor to glamour, but nothing that modified your gameplay.

It's already there, though.

Idk, even Fantasia is really P2W... I see people buying 100's of them to be able to switch race when they switch class.

A mount would be ok at most if you ask me.

Fantasia's are U/U you could only ever have 4 without buying retainers 6 if you sprung for the extra retainers (1 on you, one on each retainer {edit} forgot you could keep one in your mail box too{/edit}). It'd be way more trouble than it's worth. What with having to; Use fantasia/go to Retainer and grab spare one then use it, Strip down, log out, go through character creation, log back in, switch jobs...etc.

Cash shop should never ever be suggested even as a joke. I can understand something to redo your character look but anymore than this and we'll just get on a slippery slope and we all know where it'll lead us to... If you got money burning your fingers and crying to be spent then buy goodies or donate this money to people who needs it more than you do but DO NOT ask for a cash shop just because you feel like spending your money on stuff that should be available to all through playing the game.

Other then moving char data from server to server, NONE or whatsoever. If I want to play a P2W or cash shop game, I will be playing those games and not be paying any monthly fees.
