And the funny thing about that is those Allagan and Primal based gear are far easier to get in comparison to the Atma and Animus weapons.

If you're capable of completing the content, sure. There's plenty of posts here and elsewhere containing testimonials of being unable to beat T5 and Ex Primals though, so I think right now Second Coil gear is only in the hands of a very small minority of players. For everyone else, the Animus and Soldiery gear is really the only thing they have to look forward to.
