Cool. I have a nice amount of regular mega-potions so im trying to get rid of em lol. W/o potions my range is what i mentioned previously (373-385). And yea im trying to keep that skill speed as low as i can xD.

How much u guys deal in cleared t9?
This is what I have been looking at for BiS (someone told me 495 acc is Cap for t9):

With a wee bit more acc:

Hi all,
I wanted to know how much an ilvl90 monk (with ilvl95 Levi weapon but still CT pants. the rest is full Allagan) should be doing in terms of DPS on a training dummy (so without party buff, echo, food, and strength potion).
Reason I ask is that my monk (not being my main, though I still cleared all fights up to T6) does about 315-320 DPS on a training dummy and I find that pretty low compared to certain numbers I see in here and there on the forum.
I know the "rotation/priorities" and on a dummy, I am pretty much consistent with the execution. The main issue I could see is that I may be clipping my dots too much. I tend to refresh Dem when I'm <=6 sec and ToD <=3. Other than that, I use BfB, IR and off-GCD skills everytime they're up.
So I'd like to know if my DPS is significantly off for my ilvl.
I've been pretty down since my last T6 run where I was significantly under BRD and miles away from SMN (main classes, so they're ilvl 95 really). I didn't have much up time because I got targeted a lot by flowers, chains and honey glazes but still... I felt really crappy...
Have 503 acc rn and don't have any misses yet, but yeah lol, still in phase 1/2. Can't go any lower though to test it :V
So: Like I said, I'm still in phase 1/2, when do you guys use Perfect Balance in p1? After pull or after the double meteor stream?
I did 300ish dps without dying. But I should be able to push it to 330+ in my opinion if we had static groups. Coz in my FC we never play with the same people, so it's hard to optimize dps when you aren't sure about the people you play with, mostly on T9 because there are alot of stacking and stuff. So position is very important or you die/wipe.
Your 2nd BiS is not bad, however, this one still might be superior http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/MCNJ.
I use PB at the very beggining. My highest DPS so far BEFORE double meteor stream is 436. But I usually finish the entire Phase 1 at around 380ish.
You won't miss on flank/rear with 503, but expect to miss 1 or 2 times during the ENTIRE fight as you will be hitting Nael on the front alot on the last phase.
I'd say 320ish on a dummy isn't that far off where you should be, As for turn 6 you have alot of disconnects, fruits, blighted and such. SMN/BRD can multi-dot with ease, dps while on the move/at ranged while you have to basically disengage the boss from a dps stand point.
I personally don't lose DPS to our brd/smn but I don't out dps them by miles and quite frankly it's alot about rng and sometimes they'll out dps me, I wouldn't take it personally. Largely comes down to how many fruits/honey I'll get. Remember too alot of those "numbers" you see on the forums are exaggerated. I've seen myself do 398 on a fight ONCE, it doesn't mean I consistently pull it lol. I do around 370-385 on T8, I have zero responsibility during the fight with the exception of dpsing dreads and GTFO of mines, it's essentially a dps dummy and theres no way you should be losing to that unless you're grossly undergeared compared to the other dps. Note that my DPS is supported with potions and a BRD playing peon. I haven't been super lucky on gear but I don't think I'm that far behind the curb either. I guess I just wouldn't be to concerned with t6 numbers as long as you're pulling 230-260.
About the Dots, It's far better to have a dot down for 1-2 seconds then it is to clip the dot. If you're to close to a demo running out and you're tempted to clip it, then skip it. My general rule is 2 seconds or less I'll refresh.
This is the DPS I did on our first kill where I had i92. Now that I'm 103, I do around 450, and that's not exaggerated because many capable monks here can pull 430+ with less ilvl.Remember too alot of those "numbers" you see on the forums are exaggerated. And about T6. You can pretty much DPS all the time here without losing your GL3 while dealing with flower etc.. The only time that you might lose your GL3 is probably during the first add phase. A quick tip if you're having trouble keeping your GL3 when you get the flower: you can actually hit the BULB where you are standing. So yeah mnk can out dps any class on this turn.
On t8 or a dummy yes, I think some monks read these numbers and expect do pull them on other encounters and when they don't, they wonder why. This is the DPS I did on our first kill where I had i92. Either that or they're using FFXIVAPP to parse which always tends to show higher numbers than ACT.
