    "So the entire rotation is
    DK -> Twin -> Demo -> Boot -> True -> Snap -> DK ->"

    By using Bootshine as your 2nd opo stance move you're not actually applying Dragon Kick until the 3rd form rotation. It only applies its debuff when used in Coeurl form (so you ccan't open with it). Also while Dragon Kick has the same potency as Bootshine when used from the flank, it's not always ideal to open with it - especially is you Shoulder Tackle right into the back of something. Much easier to just use Bootshine first which is 150 potency from any direction. So it would be better to go:

    Bootshine -> True* -> Demo -> DK -> Twin -> Snap -> Boot -> True -> Snap etc

    *While you won't be getting Twin Snakes buff right away here you're using all the rear moves first which makes movement / auto attacks less stressful. If there's a DPS loss from not using Twin in your first form rotation (I haven't done the math) it's surely negligible.

    Hey guys, I'm a fresh 50. I've been working on my Relic quest so far. At this point I'm up to Titan HM, but don't quite meet the gear requirement yet. So far I'm kind of feeling like a chicken with it's head cut off. There's all these explosions, adds, and other things going on in these fights and I'm struggling to keep Grease Lightning III up at all times. Is it simply a matter of getting used to being all over the place all the time?

    But damn, Ifrit HM was extremely entertaining. One big firework show for 10 minutes.

    EDIT: Just saw that post showing the blank and solid space showing the rear and flank. Very helpful, thank you. Also, is there any way to know what kind of DPS I'm pulling on PS4?

    Primals are generally rough on mnk do to jump mechanics in regards to keeping GL3, you can learn little tips along the way but it mostly comes down to remembering the pattern of what happens next. As for knowing your dps on the PS4, ask someone in your FC ( you should be in one ) if they're running a parser. I don't believe PS4 has the ability to run it's own.

    nice. i should be getting mine next week. Our drg is getting theirs this week while our smn got theirs last week. We'll see how close they can match my animus dps . hopefully my team downs t8 this week. i'm first in line for sands so i'd be going right to that i110 super saiyan dps within a few days lol.

    EDIT: Question for those who beat t8; Do you ignore using ToD? The farthest ive gotten in t8 is 30%. highest DPS ive gotten is 385, but my range is usually around 373-385. i've been using ToD after it expires, then tried doing it only when i have invigorate ready, but i'm still noticing i get low around the 2nd Dread. my goal is to rely on paeon song as little as possible.

    How have you managed your TP in T8 w/o sacrificing DPS? Or would ignoring ToD ultimately increase it? maybe i should only apply it to boss when dread spawn so i can still be doing dmg while atking dread? Any insight would be appreciated

    I don't have TP problems at all in T8, but that's only because our bard keeps TP song up. I use Invigorate when I hit 500 TP~. If my TP went down to 200, I ask our bard to sing, and it if he's out of mana, I have a new Invigorate ready. I don't drop ToD, but I did drop Fracture. If you don't want to rely on song... Idk can't help there. /:

    doing 370-400 dps there as ilvl 94 (without crafted/coil gear 'cuz rng god hates me except for the i100 weap [and now finally the 110 weapon]). idk better monks probably always do 400+.
    ((edit: of course with pots and bufffood))

    @Kuroyasha: I had the same sort of TP issues when I first started doing T8, but after working with my bard slightly, I no longer have TP issues. I keep ToD in my rotation, renewing it as soon as it expires, and don't have TP issues anymore (single bard). At the pace my party goes, I use Invigorate during the killing of the first Dread. I go ham from there on out, and around the time of the first brainjack, my Bard will put on TP song for myself and him. He'll either drop TP song once the Dread spawns (we force it right after the Brainjack is done) if he wants to kill the dread faster, or he'll leave it on for me until after the dread is dead. I don't believe he Battle Voices it (I can't imagine my healers ever allowing him to). This usually leaves me between 750-900 TP, with Invigorate off of cooldown. I burn down to 590TP and pop Invigorate again, and typically don't need another TP song for the rest of the fight.

    I usually Invigorate at <600 which is durring the first dread and have it ready around the time the second Dread comes.
    Our bard uses TP song after the second Dread until he is OOM.
    I never have any tp problems after that and keep ToD up.

    This week I managed to maintain 450 on t8, using both fracture and TOD, using invigorate just before/during 1st dreadnought, and I got 2 TP songs after this point(not sure when, just shout for it when invig isn't up/tp hitting 300>) and 1 more use of invig, problem is I can spend TP faster than TP song gives at the moment, but if you have access to a bard with paeon never drop TOD or fracture if you can keep them in your rotation.

    We got smn in our pt, so we bring the dreadnought towards the boss for bane, in this time i usually re apply TOD and maybe demolish (if i am near the end of a rotation) back onto the boss if they are less than half duration left give or take. then switch to DK and fracture it and go from there.

    Also note that some FCs go double monk for this, 1 monk can stick to normal rotations and the other can drop dragon kick completely and go for bootshine spam, its a fairly good upgrade in dps, by about 20-30 maybe

    Monk loot doesn't exist in second coil, this is what I get for having every single striking/maiming item my monk could use way before 2.2 hit
