So, I updated my weapons, as I said and I'm now getting 480-490 DPS with Ossom's opener so I'm comfy. Haven't done much testing between that and my old opener but it makes a lot of sense that it would be an increase.

Thanks for the info, Ricdeau and WB.

For my opener, I always use BfB and IR after GL 3 is applied (which should be 3 gcd in).
IS it more beneficial to do so or to just weave them in right away as I build up GCD?

Two buffed DoTs has to be better than two unbuffed, right?
Do we have any conclusive numbers as to weather or not Ossom's is the best PB opener? I've always done an unbuffed ToD before PB so im wondering if this one above provides a larger initial burst.

    Shoulder > ToD > PB > Demo > Snap > Snap > Twin > Dragon - {End PB} - > BfB > Boot > Howling > IR > Steel > True > Xpot > Demo > ToD > Dragon

Is this rotation considered sub optimal? From the looks of it the only unbuffed Dots are the initial ToD and the Demo during PB but the ones after PB ends are fully buffed with pot.

The discussion over exactly this is a few pages back, starting around page 44

I still do it out of old habit occasionally, but in all honesty I'm not pushing FCoB so it's not going to make a huge difference on anything I run. Best spot to put it is #6 GCD after you've used the 5 moves in PB opener. It's a little trickier to pull off in some fights, most of the time I see GL3 fall off right before or after I get the last SP or Demo (still keeps stack but you see the flying text -Greased Lightning III right before or after +Greased Lightning III)

I have to agree with WB here, you definitely want ToD fully buffed when ever you can manage it. As for opening with it or going straight for GL3, I just prefer the latter. It would take far more complicated math than I'm willing to do to prove which is superior but I can certainly parse it and note any differences.

    Here's what I was doing last night;

    Shoulder > PB > Snap > B4B > Snap > IR > Demo > Steel > DK > Howling > Twin - {End PB} - > ToD > Boot > True > Snap (GL3 does threaten to drop here / roughly 7s left on Demo)

You may need to replace that last Snap Punch with Demo depending on your SkSp. Mine is @ 403.

The math has been done a couple times so don't worry about it too much. Basically waiting to have a buffed ToD (at that particular spot) you gain back any potency that was lost by not having it ticking the first 5 gcds. Wait too long and the advantage disappears.

There are still a couple considerations, I think, depending on the fight. It's a low threat move that can give the tank an extra global to secure threat (t8 dreads and t9 golems come to mind), even if it's not "max" dps. Just my opinion.

    Tips for beginner monks:
Don't ToD first, it's a dps Loss.(But if you are, wait for your GCD before Perfect Balance.)
    Opening should be 5 GCD's
Opening should start with building 3 Greased Lightning and DK at the very least.
If you're having a hard time with Finding the rear and the flank use the Target Circle
