Erm no is correct? I mean it is, but weren't you trying to say the opposite? Common sense should apply to all jobs. It is supposed to be damage per second, not derps per second.Sorry, the whole purpose of having a tank is the tank makes sure the rest of the PT takes minimal damage. Tanking 101 is "Make sure whatever part of the monster that is sending out damage is facing away from the rest of the party".
Therefore "Erm no" is correct. OP should have positioned the thing properly in the first place.

Yeah, I think the group as a whole should have paid more attention. As a tank it is annoying to have to cover for bad DPS, but it's just as annoying for DPS to cover for bad tanks. It's a conundrum anytime I queue for DF as to what job I want to be, because I have to try and decide what do I want to put up with more.
