Why would run 2 more times with same group or am I reading that wrong.

This was in roulette, all 3 wipes during the same run. My main point was they were obviously very inexperienced at the boss encounter, yet the BLM had clearly done SR's a number of times. He brought the attitude of being a pro into the run, but failed hard when we got to the boss.

It's your job as tank to position the boss... you pointed it at them not once but twice and expected a positive outcome? Which is the simpler task to accomplish.

a) Expecting two people to individually realize they are standing in the wrong position and move out of range of a fairly large cone shaped aoe attack they seem to know nothing about.

b) Flipping the boss around so the aoe isn't pointing at anyone.

I'm not saying these people are innocent... but you're no saint/genius in this situation either.

I was pointing it in a sensible direction. Let me re-iterate: this is the first time I've EVER seen wipes on that boss, from dozens of runs. I was not the problem.

Yeah, most DPS I get in DF do this well, this group did it once out of the three tries and forgot on the other two.


Anyway, lesson learned, I've been trying to give the "E" section of the population in my server group a chance in Roulette. It's not worth the stress of dealing with obnoxious people though, and I'm just going to revert back to "J/E/D/F".
