    Are you suggesting that the lottery is a good way to award quest rewards?

    That is just about the very definition of a welfare reward. You have completely separated reward from effort or skill and base it on a random factor.

    -So... that is the system you think should be used? Why bother with encounters? How about all the raiders pull a lever and the slot machine just rewards people at random?

    I can't believe we have gotten to such a low point in gaming where people are actually defending the idea that gear is now just given out by lottery! No shame these days. Line up, hit the level 20 piñata to see if you get your rewards!
