No point to prove. Just laughing to myself at people complaining about the time it takes to get things now-a-days.
It's just such a different world now. Just trolling some for self-amusement. ^_^ Enjoy.
For the best weapon in the game that was meant to be extremely rare. Also Dynamis was new content that's a lot better than reused Fates. Different things here.
Can't rule Atma/Animus/???/??? out just yet. The upgrades are far from finished. (2.25, 2.3+)
Relic dagger wasn't the strongest weapon, either, until the very end. I'm sure this is just the beginning.
Dynamis was fun, yes, but doing Dynamis-Bastok 38 times for currency was no different than any other
grind. It also turned into a snooze-fest at points. Don't get me wrong, I loved XI. Played for 8 years.
Anyhow, it's just a silly thing to see people blowing their tops over 30 hours of farming. Just my opinion.
Edit: Also, I do not agree with FATEing, so don't get me wrong there. It definitely could have been a better
quest setup. If you really think about it, though, the time commitment to get this weapon isn't as bad as back
in the day.
I get that, but it's a bad argument.
If you get in a car accident, but no one is injured and you only suffered cosmetic damage to the vehicle, "it could be worse" works there. Everyone could have died, or you could have lost your car. That's a great argument there.
But if you go to a sandwich shop, and you are served a sandwich that tastes odd and turns you off, your friend next to you shouldn't say "it could be worse, just eat it." That's a bad friend, and where you're eating is a bad sandwich shop.
If a product or service isn't up to your standards, you have a right to make your complaint known and it would be reasonable to expect some form of response. The last thing anyone needs it a bunch of other people eating poopoo sandwiches yelling at you to shut up and enjoy what you got, cause it could be worse.
And of course, you can also leave the sandwich shop, which may suit the poopoo sandwich eaters, but the shop really shouldn't want that.
Yes, I'm sure the sandwich shop wouldn't want people to leave. However, speaking with your wallet can be a powerful tool.
If people complained but kept eating my sandwiches, I wouldn't change it. Why bother? I'm still getting paid. ^_-
If I can continue to stuff my sandwiches with cheap, plastic beef and people will continue to eat it while complaining, there's
no reason for me to exchange that beef for T-bone steak. Maybe I am wording that wrong, but hopefully you understand.
Sure, I have an onslaught of complaints but the fact is the product is still being consumed and I continue to have an income.
Now, once people start walking away, that's when I would consider upping my standards.
Edit: Re-read this and it seems I repeated myself in all 3 statements. Sorry, I'm tired. x.x

Yeah but Dynamis was fun for a long time and it's 100x better than Fates. That's my issue with Fates it's not the grind, it just wasn't fun to begin with. You're just doing low tutorial reused content for one of the best weapons in the game. There's really no comparing the grind time because the quality of items you get is a lot different.
