SE would just need to check how many times within a period of time you'd said you had to AFK long enough that a group decided to kick. If it happens several times at the same spot in an instance, it's not very likely you really had to AFK.The problem I see with this whole AFK is how to say for sure the person was really AFK. One way would be to look at his chat (afk in dungeon and chating on FC? yeah right =P) but several times I had to go afk (real life stuff happens) and when I get back people usually kicked me for being AFK for too long... I usually say that I have to afk for a few and its ok to kick me if I take too long, but to some people that could be seen as a fake-AFK just to get kicked too.....
I'm a little confused over the whole "Party in PF was full so I myth farmed in DF instead". Are people that afraid of the PF that they can't just make a new listing? O.o
The only feature I wish the PF had was the option to pull from all servers in the data center, just like the DF does. It would allow for lots more people to be available.
Sometimes I get family aggro and I afk in 2 dungeons... But if that happens i'll probably leave w/o caring bout the penalty and not joining one till im certain i can finish it... But I see your point, that could help checking who is AFK-farming on DF.

Its not about not finishing the dungeon, its wanted to be kicked to avoid penalty and being a leecher.how you can report someone for harrassement, there is nothing written somewhere that you need to FINISH the dungeon, is there ?nothing forbids you to leave after the whatever boss you needed, or gear you wanted to receive, nothing forbids anyone to do this BUT integrity and education. Would you report someone for leaving ? there is no harrassement, and the reasons could be that he didnt feel he could make it or had to go or or or or.. filing a ticket for harrassement is a serious matter, that shouldnt be taken lightely I think people misuse it us alot.
They should make it so you get credit w/ each boss that dies while you have emnity on it. At the end, credit gets added up, and you get the reward.
In theory sounds great, in practise you will get DPS over agroing, healers over healing just to increase their enmity on the boss to get that credit, and would most likely make the party suffer
And on the flip side, a good healer and DPS wouldn't be that high in the threat list so tank would be rewarded more
Not shooting down your idea, but as good as it sounds, the toxic part of the community would find a way around it fast sadly
I don't think he meant varying amounts of reward. He means if you participated at ALL you count as having credit for that particular boss. ie you could poke it with a stick and get credit. Which isn't perfect either, could introduce other issues while trying to fix this one.In theory sounds great, in practise you will get DPS over agroing, healers over healing just to increase their enmity on the boss to get that credit, and would most likely make the party suffer

I don't mean scale it to the amount of emnity you have. I mean that if you have any emnity on the boss, i.e. you participated, you get the credit. In theory sounds great, in practise you will get DPS over agroing, healers over healing just to increase their enmity on the boss to get that credit, and would most likely make the party suffer

Biggest issue I can see is that if you have to bail from a dungeon then you are hosed out of your reward. Could adjust so that if you leave of your own fruition then (get penalty) then you could get back say, half of the tomes you should? Would be enough of an incentive to have players stick around for the rest of the run, and not totally screw you over if RL crap comes up.
If you're vote kicked, you get nothing. I see no problem with this, because there are two possibilities for a vote kick; deserved to be kicked, or didn't. If you deserved it, you should get nothing. If you didn't (let's be real, how often does this really happen?) then you should be reporting anyway, in which case the policy could be to take tomes from guilty and award to innocent.
DC's I can't help with, that's just bad luck. Shrug it off and move on.
Problems solved. Of course this will never get implemented, but it's an interesting discussion.

Yes because it's only happened once ever to one person on the entire servers.... Your response makes you sound like you were one of those "I'm sitting here and not contributing because I don't need to kill the last boss"
That really could work then just hope people don't find ways around it :/I don't mean scale it to the amount of emnity you have. I mean that if you have any emnity on the boss, i.e. you participated,
