Hate it? Don't do it.
All this "I hated every step of the way but i still did it" is kind of stupid, why are you wasting time you're supposed to be having fun with, doing something you don't like( and makes you rather angry even) and that nothing in the game is even remotely forcing you to do? Seems crazy to me, but what do i know..
The grind will be nerfed(severely if i had to guess) in a patch or two.. the weapon is not the best, save it for later - problem solved..
