So, after 9 days, I finally got all 12 pieces of Atma.
That was not fun in the slightest, when that last piece was dropped, I was on the verge of tears due to immense relief, I feel absolutely no satisfaction over this.

Had similar feelings towards my 12th. After that debacle of a first day, spending myriad hours stubbornly grinding out Outer La Noscea to no avail, I've just been chipping away at it for no more than 2 hours a day, with decent success. But when that Atma of the Archer dropped to my inventory, finishing this, it was exasperation, not exhilaration, that I felt. I mashed Flash like a boss on countless FATEs, getting me gold, why is this somehow an accomplishment? It's lazy design, compounded with drop odds where you'd probably have a better chance winning a game of Russian Roulette with a fully loaded revolver.
And when, what I am going to boldly assume, a sizable amount of the player base feels that way about a game mechanic, you may want to strongly considering revising said mechanic.

The second part on the last slide, Quote:
"2. Fun comes first. If it isn't fun, you're doing it wrong."
End quote.
When I get this last Atma in East Shroud I'm going to go crazy! I remember when I got my Toci's Harness (after 500+ Pil) in FFXI, I was at School and when it dropped I yelled "F word YAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Everyone stopped and looked up, Teacher was like I need to see you after class sir.
This is almost as bad as going for Coruscanti from Qilin, I gave up after 2k+ fights.
Grats. This is, I think, how most people feel about this. The only satisfaction to be had with this is, "thank god its finally over!"
I've spent the last 6 days trying to get the central shroud atma and I still haven't gotten it. I spent part of tonight doing some fates with a FC mate. He got his after 20mins.
