You are missing the point.ITT: People complaining that they aren't being given instant gratification.
It's only been a week; the next patch probably won't be announced until June, and we probably won't be seeing it until September. That's literally 6 months away, and your complaining about a week? They give us one thing, one thing that requires a little bit of extra time and effort, and you act like its the end of the world, because you weren't instantly handed over your loot. That's the exact mentality that killed WoW and made it the awful baby community it is today.
some people spent 3-4 days in the same zone and got nothing, other did 3 FATE and got it.
if they said go kill 1000 FATE its fine, you have a goal, but this?
If you read the replies you'd see that the time is not what is being complained about. People are asking for content which is more interesting than grinding old FATEs and/or more reliable progression where it's possible to tell how much further away you are from the goal and the amount of effort required is more consistent between players. The long process of farming mythology and completing the books is generally regarded as fine because the goal is defined and measurable progress can be attained whenever you're working on it, and you don't have to be doing the same FATEs for hours on end to hope to progress at all.
ITT people who don't read the whole thread and miss the point entirely.
I find it rather insulting to the playerbase that S-E aren't even acknowledging their concerns over this topic. Continued silence on their part isn't doing anything to improve their already tarnished image in the eyes of the world's gaming press and, more importantly, the paying public. They've already lost my custom in the single player market due to the cash-grabbing crap they pulled with FF13 and shoddy releases such as Thief and now they're on target to lose me as an online MMO customer as well.
Suffice to say I cancelled my rebilling the other day even with PS4 release around the corner and am waiting to see how this pans out as well as the continuing issues with instance lag and their general disconnect from the playerbase. And, yes, I'm only one customer but I'm fairly certain I'm not alone in taking this approach.
No, i'm not going to pay for other months of boring grinding and brainless contents. Thank you but no thank you.
I agree, the way they did this was just stupid in my personal opinion, even though i got my atma weapon on patch day i know it was all down to luck and its sort of unfair for the people who cant put the time in. After all the time i am currently doing my 6th book and almost gonna start 7th and too be honest this book is much better than atma farming, I feel as if i am gaining progress on getting my animus.
Looks like SE has hit the enrage timer with a lot of their customers. I doubt they have 3 good healers to spam heal through all the damage like in Coil Turn 2.
So once again SE please increase the rate drop on ATMAs, please no more RNG grind, give us a grind with clear and measurable progression.
What I wish I could do when
I get an RMT message:
Please. Okay. Thanks.
i think the rng involves how many of a certain atma can be dropped in a 24 hour period. Thus making some people grind for hours pointlessly.
ps: 4 days at upper la noscea
