Because you don't need the highest iLv to do something that's not Coil. It can't be simpler than that.

Why does it have to be about only doing coils? I don't pay to play this game to just login and stand around after I'm done with Coils every week. There are other things to do in the game even if you don't need to be max ilvl for them. You do know that there will be future content right? If I want to gear out my Main I should be able to. I have my Goals that I would like to get done in the game, Just like I'm sure others do. I'm tired of dealing with RNG that has lockouts.

Seems like Yoshi doesn't care anymore. There can be other ways to have gear progression besides Hard Content and Weekly Lockouts.

And again, I repeat. What in the world does someone who isn't interested in raiding need with the best weapons in the game? You don't need i110 to do i55 dungeons. You don't need i110 to do EX primals. You don't need it to do dailies. So... other than "that guy has a cool weapon and I want it too but I don't like raiding"... what?

Like I said before if SE wanted the progression to be Tome gear then new Allagan, Then they shouldn't have even added upgrades to the Soldiery Gear and they could have kept the Weathered Weapons out of the Game. Upgraded Relics, Leviathan, and new Allagan weapons were enough.
