I have no problem with Fates. I actually love them. But waiting for a specific fate is beyond boring, and seems like such a waste when the time spent waiting could've been time spent leveling elsewhere. :/

Not to mention those items are now going to sit in our inventory taking up slots for each one you have until you complete the quest. I hope I am one of the lucky ones on getting those items drops. So far like 3hrs in Northern Shroud last night and nothing.

I can understand your point Mikedizzy, but other than the Zodiac items and time restricted content (dailies, ventures, gardening) what else is there that you've completed other than story? The issue I have is that me and my FC are getting close to completing T4 Regularly and then need to start practicing T5. We cannot do that if we are constantly having to farm FATES for those damn items. There is so much to do now with 2.2 and they want us out there chillin' in the open world farming FATES???? WTF...I want to enjoy the rest of the game and not just run FATES the whole time. I want to Farm 1-5...run The Lost City of Amdapor and the new HM dungeons and everything else there is.
Why are people spending so much time waiting? the time between fate pops are always the same for that fate :c
I would say something in this thread to the people complaining, but its just gonna get into a long lengthy discussion, but obviously some lack the will and dedication that Yoshi P wants you to put into the "best weapon in the game!!" LOL Grinding old fates, I can't argue against that logic, but you have to admit, it does require some dedication. Mind boringly numb if you do it 8 hours a day, but to tackle at your leisure... Once you finish you'll be like, man... I did that!!!
Start your engines gentlemen!! Time to seperate the casuals, and the wannabe elites from the "screw you I'm getting this weapon" type guys. LOL This is the first non-casual thing to hit this game... And you ready to run to the car and cry!? LMAO
New Sig--"People call themselves elite, but only surround themselves with elite people. True elite people make the non-elite win, and make a learning team 3 times better!!" Not rage quit after the first mistake... That's like Michael Jordan walking off the court because the other 4 players just wasn't as good as him" LMAO
They may not know when it last popped. I haven't even started this quest yet, but I've heard nothing but complaints about it, and I can see why it's so unpopular.
What was that about elite? There's nothing elite about this quest line. XD
@Mikedizzy
That is solely your own problem. Talk to your FC. Square Enix has nothing to do with how you yourself are playing the game.
Zodiac:
What people do not realize is that this content is easy, yet time consuming.
Leviathan EX is decently hard, but can grant you a nice weapon.
Coil is farmable.
SE should not change how Zodiac is earned. It is totally fine to not instantly grant players a boost for "free".
You do it the easy but time consuming way, with FATEs, or you get an upgrade another way; be it Leviathan EX, or Soldiery farming.
The main reason for why the drop-rates for Atma is low, is because what you are rewarded with for doing these EASY, (let's be honest) FATEs and spending the time by doing it, is a pretty darn good upgrade. once you reach Animus.
People complain too much. I suggest thinking about what you're asking for before going rage-mode.

I'm not a huge fan of FATES but honestly I don't know what people are complaining about. I have 4 relics so far (although one I may not bother going any further with). This is something you can work on gradually in your own time. You don't have to get 7 other people together and try over and over. I know that once you've done the first stage there is a lot more to do but at least you can make some progress on these weapons by yourself. No, you can't get carried through. No, you can't blast through. I'm glad about that. If you have patience, you'll get your weapons. If you don't, then jump on some of the alternatives that are available from other fights each update. What is the big deal?
I really hope I'll be able to complete one or more Zodiac weapons.
... Those who played 1.x mostly are complaining now because they already experienced bad RNG grinding content...
... Those who play since 2013 mostly defend the system because they dont know it better...
Time consuming? Seriously, you should have played 1.x, there is a reason why we are complaining! We will not have that old system back! You wonder why 1.x failed? go ask one who played 1.x ...
yeah I had two FC members fly through side/new realm/and hildi stories and unlocked everything there in like a couple of hours of story skipping.
they started relic and stopped after 3 FATES.
I was redecorating the house and playing with Glamour, maybe im taking things too laxed, but I really don't see why it's so unpopular? all I see is people being impatient cause they haven't figured it out or obtained their 115 in 3 minutes.
1.0 Relic was the same and great that you had to try so hard, felt so much better to be one of the limited few to pass and gain it, instead of mass amounts of people all at once.
haha im not quite sure what you mean about elite, but i think the quest is pretty awesome :3
