Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

after you get the Atma, you have to buy challenge books, each book costs 1500 myth to buy and you have to buy 9 books total. you don't spend 13,500 all at once. we don't know what all the challenges are yet though.

So, are these Fates and Atma pieces the only thing that has to be done to upgrade your Zenith to Atma?

seems like it but Atma isn't an upgrade of Zenith the stats are identical, only difference is the name and iLv.

I feel incredibly shameful for every minute I spend grinding Fates towards upgrading my Relic Weapon.

You could just save your tomes for two weeks and get a weapon that's equivalent or better AND upgradeable from there. Go back and do the relic when you're complaining about only logging in on Tuesdays.

That's the plan.

I'm not mad because of items. Unlike most MMO players, my main concern isn't about what items I have in my inventory. I'm more upset about the design philosophy of this game.

MMO's and video games have infinite design space. They could have made the Relic quest chain something incredibly cool and fun but they wasted it on this FATE trash.
