define "many people", i don't know of anyone who said anything close to that before 2.1
everything is optional, even playing the game.
For real, anyone who played RO knows the definition of "grind" and "impossibru."Except the MVPs spawned way less often and you weren't competing with a party of 8 that needs/greeds, rather than a mass of people camping a single map for inane amounts of time. For the .01% drop :P This game doesn't have anything nearly as mindlessly time-wasting, in my opinion. Especially now that you can get as much loot a week from raids! You could run the instance again if you want to but you wouldn't be so lucky with an mvp
This is mildly inconvenient in comparison.
I can guarantee you if drop rates were 100% for gold and people got their Atma upgrade by now, We'd see the same amount of threads complaining it was easy. I'm not saying grinding is hard, its tedious. But it is difficult for some people to find the motivation after spending a lot of time for something and not getting it or getting it as quick as others. Up until today, for the last two months or so, I'd see at least 3 threads with, "Relics are easy to get." "I have nothing to do" well, now that you didn't get the first upgrade in 3 hours, you have something to do.
But getting the relic was a grind for currency first just like this one, you dont even know what you have to do after you finish grinding out these fates. So to me, they are both the same, you both have to grind and grind to get anywhere.
Might want to recalculate that in lieu of no increase in myth tome acquisition (except CT)

There are always people that complain.
How about WoW's legendary cloak quest? It is welfare enough. Is there any complain? Yes? Tons of them. The most epic one is this:
"Quest for lengendary cloak is too easy, made an legendary item not so legendary."
When will new generation of gamers be happy about a game at all?
