A long term goal, finally. Bring it on. This is how MMO is supposed to be.

Just focus on one job at a time, it'll be 3 months give or take until the next big content patch comes out.
By that time you could be pretty much working on gearing your second job, even if you don't play every day.
Aside from that, except for the perhaps the later turns in the second coil everything is designed to be completed by ilevel 90 or lower players.

1.0's Relic Quest was different and therefor I concider it "elsehwere" and like you said, it was bad. I've yet to try the new fates so I won't be able to give my opinion until I've done so. But I do think that when someone places a complaint about something being bad, the correct way to answer is not to tell them that there is something worse.
But I agree with you, as with many games the Devs have to create a game for so many people at the same time that they simply cannot get it right for everyone and for every choice they make there will always be complain threads.
Well, won't get to jump in and try it out much until this weekend likely, but I'm definitely interested to see how it works now. Do FATE's, kill enemies, collect tomes...
Still better then raid content ^_^

We obviously have different definitions of work :/ Waiting in a spot for a fate to spawn whilest tabbing out, and having netflix running on half my screen while I run around spamming flash mindlessly doesn't really count as work to me. Just mind-numbing tedium I thought I'd gotten away from.... oh well, it is what it is. Let's not pretend it's hard though. At least read up/go see How it works...Not to mention this is totally FFXI, pointing out one option that XI had in abyssea doesn't change the fact that everything else in FFXI was exactly the same, waiting around doing nothing until something pops then kill it and pray the RNG gods are on your side. FFXI at it's finest. These people asked for it, they got it. lol Get to work I say!!!!
You don't wait for anything, all fates in a given area can drop the atma...
Also to all those complaining NO ONE is forcing you to do this, this is one of 3 ilvl100 weapons and its not even close to being the best in the game atm.
What's wrong with having something that takes time and effort to get? Not everything needs to be spoonfed.
Of course not. What i'm saying is, no matter what option i choose, if i not focus just one job, by the time all my jobs are well geared (at least 1 dps, tank, healer) the content will be obsolete. Thats what makes me sad.
- I'm not poor, but i'm not gonna waste all my money when i would require to gear 6 alts. The gear will cost 20k each piece in a few months... when they become obsolete ; ;
- I WANT to get involved in the hardest stuff... but i can't join a FC (i have my own with some spanish friends) and i don't find a static to do coil, so i rely on PUGs and.. you know what happens...
- I love to do T1T4 (even T5), even more now i can use duty finder and doesn't have a week cap. Is the RNG the thing that bothers me...
Sorry, i'm not complaining, just laughing at the people raging that's all. I actually like it, I will definitely be working on these. At least read up/go see How it works...

A question concerning the ATMA items:
Do I Need all 12 items for one upgrade or is one enough? And if one is enough is there a difference in the upgraded weapon depending on which item i used (so 12 possible atma weapons per Job?)
Thanks for the answers
Thanks for the fast answer
