People playing one class and maybe 1-2 DOH/DOL and players who are not interested in collecting won't probably understand this. The Game mechanics just do not fit to the options FF14ARR provides us with. SE made it very easy to use a plethora of jobs on the same character. But they did not consider the need of people who actually use several jobs. I see several elements why people (including myself) have run out of space:

- Armoury doesn't provide enough slots. DL gear could easily be used for two jobs, Myth gear is for a single job so for example for a BLM and a Conjuror, you need the equip 2 times although they share stats.

- Keeping items you need regulalarly for your crafts suck up enourmous space in your inventory and your retainers. I have all crafters and do not keep everything but I am constantly switching things over or get rid of items just to gather them again in the next week. And I truly hate it!

- Collectors have a very hard time in FF14. First there is the sub-optimal way SE delievers seasonal gear to us. Patch, keep most of the items until the next patch where they can finally be stored at the Inn. But it is not only vanity stuff. Some people like to collect all the different gear the Game has to offer, like for example all earrings you can get from Ultima or the Ex fights, all Moogle weapons etc. Might not make sense for most players but collectors are out there so why not show a tad more love for them?

I don't care that we have more space now than people had in 1.0. When this Game was released, the storage space was subpar already from the beginning. People have asked for more storage options and half a year later they come out with a monthly paid option. And you wonder why people do not like it thoroughly? Paying for stuff like that would be fine for a free to play Game. But for a subscription based Game? Not seeing it as really appropriate. Don't get me wrong. I WILL use their "service" because I live with congested retainers since months but it really gives me a bad smell in my mouth having to do it for a monthly fee.
