    Somehow this whole "hardcore" thing reminds me of "Wing Commander" and the backstory about the Pilgrims

    Yes, we did, but most of us didn't beg the developers and cry for them to make it easier because we needed to learn and didn't want to. We sucked it up, did our homework, learned our role and the content and moved on.
