Is anyone else really disappointed with the nerfs coming in 2.2?

As a hardcore gamer I was greatly anticipating 2.2. I have been pretty bored the last couple of weeks waiting. I was excited for some new content.

However, in the LL yesterday they listed a LOT of nerfs in 2.2.

Please SE, push players. Leave content in the game for casual players absolutely, but leave something for the hardcore. I know we are getting Leviathan and more Coil, but that's not much in the big picture, and how long till that gets nerfed, 2.3?

By nerfing content you are basically telling everyone who worked hard for their gear that their time was wasted. Why should we push to beat Leviathan? In 3 months you're just going to make it easier right? Wait till then, do it the easy way and get the same rewards as people who worked really hard to beat it.

Should everyone be entitled to the same rewards regardless of skill level or time invested? I really don't think so.

Nope not disappointed. I had my chance at killing stuff at previous difficulty, and I took my time about it and didn't get titan X killed. This is how MMOs work, nerf old for the people who didn't get it done, and bring new challenges for the people that did get it done. what's the problem with all this? You proclaim yourself a hardcore gamer so I can only assume your delighted to say goodbye to the old stuff?

Fixed that for you. How MMOs in general work is people beat content they can't beat when its current once they gain more levels/abilities/skill over time/expansions.

You guys are looking at it the wrong way....

You guys did all content previous 2.2 ( I assume ) and are now ready for the new stuff. Other people will still be working on the old stuff. How is this not rewarding?

Old content gets nerfed, new content gets released. Welcome to the current cycle of MMORPGs. This has been happening for years.

I'm kinda hoping for the Primals they do what they did in Coil, with the Echo buff. Keep it if you can't clear it without help, click it off for the old challenge.

primals echo only pop if you wipe: do not wipe and you have old challenge (or exit/restart if in a premade)

This right here. It's going to continue to happen this way too. That's how they keep casual players. You'll get the new drops from t9 and they won't have them, you can feel like you have accomplished something until the next update. I 100% agree with casual content and hardcore content so that they can keep both player bases happy, but I think we'll always see things skewed towards casual content so they can retain a robust playerbase. I am hoping there is enough content to keep me logging in, honestly I log in on mondays now and that's pretty much it for the rest of the week. I'm excited for stuff like gardening, stuff that might have rng possibility to give you something rare, I hope it's not a total cake walk. If only they'd add in open world NM's, I wouldn't be logging off to play my 3ds or my ps4.

I'm disappointed. I know a lot of people are like "Well you already beat it" I like to redo things and when I redo it, I don't want it to be easy. I think they are nerfing stuff to soon, I get nerfing is in every game, but we havent even reached the first expansion or level cap raise yet. It is what it is I guess :<
