I feel really stupid for not looking for that.
While other's people's crafting doesn't really bother me and I do my own crafting on the Company house's lawn these days this does help against the genius that decides it is a great idea to fish two steps from where I am fishing.

How about you just mute all of your sounds if it's so annoying to hear how lively a game is and that people actually have fun instead of just logging in for some hours each monday to clear their weekly stuff?

Some people like the fun of it, some don't. I spam heals once I get new gear to look at the increased healing rate. Or I just join fellow healers for the fun of it.
If you find other people having fun annoying, maybe a singleplayer is better suited.

can we have a seperated Mute other skill sound for only in town while we craft??? its ok you got your new spell and its fun to do it in town and show it off ...but doing it over 50time none stop .... COME ON!!!!! that is Harassment

In short, your fun is comparable to that neighbour that thinks it is "fun" to wake the entire neighbourhood with loud music at 4 A.M in the morning on a weekday and then telling them that if they don't like it they should move to another neighbourhood.

That's some things you really cannot compare. In the neighborhood you can simply call the police, however in the game no GM will do anything against people who spam skills. Why should they?
As I stated before, just mute the sound or as some others suggested, turn off the animation. You won't see or hear anything you don't like for whatever the reasons may be anymore, we can have our fun, everyone is happy.

Seriously, I did that for fun since there was a small bug where you could summon your chocobo on your field, go inside the cities and spam succor/medica to heal everything it it's range, even though they weren't in your party!
It surely was fun to see shield-bubbles appearing all over the place.

But if you are annoyed by other players, get a quiet crafting corner and do your stuff there. That's barely harassment though...
