Skill spam in city

can we have a seperated Mute other skill sound for only in town while we craft??? its ok you got your new spell and its fun to do it in town and show it off ...but doing it over 50time none stop .... COME ON!!!!! that is Harassment
I want to hear my craft sound but i dont want to hear the spamming skill of someone close of me when im crafting next of the guy who finish the quest

battle effect setting is already at none for other people except me and party since long time ... but i still hear the sound.

I put my battle sound pretty low in general since my monk screams at lot. I usually have bgm and ambient sound on higher.
Also, I put my TV volume pretty low as well, so it never bothered me when one of my guildie spammed near me.

Idk where you craft at usually, but I'm usually either in the town market or like in quarrymill, on the second floor of the area.

i know we spam of crafting ...but that crafting we actualy doing something .... but healing skill spams , or dragoon jump loud sound skill ... for no reason.... there no monster in city...
im sure since they cut the battle effect setting of other they could make something to mute action sound of other too??? right?
people would be able to still do their skill in town without annoying others ..and people will be able to do theirs thing where they want quietly.

Exemple : "fishing"
i'm sure there many who fish hand on keyboard looking tv
but since their other fishing next to us we always hear their rob get pull so we click 2 but it wasn't us. so with Mute ..only hear us but not other.. NO??

Thank you for those info took time to search battle sound ,that is why i didnt understand what you meant. but i found it ^^
i only keep myself and party ON ...but other pc i dont need it so its help alot

There are sliders to lower sound for Party and non-party members. I usually keep non-party really low or mute it all together. Fishing is one example of where I can't tolerate other fisher's sounds as I can't tell if it's mine or theirs.

I like the "turn of your sound/battle effects" responses. Obviously everyone should need to take time to change all of their settings so one guy can spam skills in town, instead of that guy spamming skills just NOT @#$%ING DOING IT.

There was a guy on Leviathan doing it the other day, and when people complained he did it more while following them + changing jobs to spam additional skills all because of "if you don't like it, just change your settings".
