2.2 Retainers via Microtransactions

No, it really isn't. I'm honestly amazed people are going this crazy over being able to do the equivalent of buying more bank slots. It's not a massive game-changer, if you actually NEED that much storage space, you're either a packrat or you don't spend nearly as much time sorting, discarding, and selling stored items as you should be.

It just seems like players always try to justify something not being p2w if it doesn't directly lead to a kill. Kind of like in DCUO where they sold replay badges which allow players to unlock locked end game raids to earn top of the line loot faster. "You still have to get the kill/run the content". Also they said the same thing about Diablo 3's RMT AH.

It's not that big of a deal to me retainers (maybe it will be not sure yet), it's more of what it usually leads to. Already seen the consequences of it in DCUO.
